DENVER (KDVR) — Denver's weather will stay in a spring pattern of warmer than normal temperatures and the chance for a few afternoon showers and thunderstorms.Weather tonight: Showers clear, mildShowers will clear out on Thursday evening and so will most of the clouds. Temperatures will stay mild and fall down to the mid-40s. Weather tomorrow: Mild, few afternoon showers Friday morning will start with sunshine, but clouds will build in during the afternoon alongside the chance for a few showers. DENVER (KDVR) — A Denver Police detective will serve a 3-day suspension after an internal affairs investigation found Detective Ana Munoz failed to follow up with a domestic violence victim, who was found killed three months later.Elizabeth Hatlas was found dead in the backyard of the home she shared with her boyfriend in August 2022. (KDVR) -- Investigators say more than 150 dogs were rescued from a home in Weld County after a hoarding investigation, and now the sheriff's office has arrested a woman on counts of animal cruelty.According to a release from the Weld County Sheriff's Office, deputies began an investigation on Feb. 14 that included hoarding and animal cruelty. A boy was airlifted to the hospital after, officials said, he was struck by a vehicle in North Lauderdale while he was riding his bicycle. According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred along the 1800 block of Southwest 63rd Terrace, just outside Broadview Elementary School, Thursday afternoon. Officials said the boy was struck while crossing the street and was hit by a car. He ended up being pinned under the vehicle. “Everyone was pointing down, I get out the car and see and hear a kid crying,” said area resident Charissa Vasquez. Vasquez said she had just come home when she saw a parked Ford SUV in the middle of the roadway.Underneath the vehicle, she said, was a bike and the little boy pinned underneath. Police have taken one person into custody following a shooting inside a Southwest Miami-Dade home that sent one person to the hospital.Miami-Dade Police and Fire Rescue responded to the scene of the incident along the 5800 block of Southwest 118th Avenue, just after 3 p.m., Thursday.7SkyForce hovered above the home, a police cruisers blocked the roadway.The property is registered to a Jorge Masvidal, but police have not specified whether or not this is the recently retired Ultimate Fighting Championship star.
