A Denver real estate agency transformed an old scrapyard on Colfax Avenue into its new headquarters.Ringsby Realty Corporation, a commercial industrial brokerage firm, recently relocated to the property at 1801 W. Colfax Ave. near Meow Wolf Denver. Last week, the firm leased its former site at 1336 Glenarm Place to Omnia International, a holding company, in a five-year deal.“We’re all moved in, and we leased out the old building,” said Alex Ringsby, president of Ringsby Realty, in a Wednesday phone call. “It’s big for us.”The completion of the project marks three years of work since the initial purchase of the Colfax property. There are fake parking tickets being issued.The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) confirmed Thursday a Reddit post of a picture showing a fake parking citation going around the city. The parking ticket also has a QR code where scammers can collect payments. Also, the date on that ticket is for May 5, 2023, which is one day after the ticket was posted online. The photo on the right is a photo of what a real SFMTA parking ticket looks like; the left is a photo of the fake citation. The QR code in the fake parking ticket brings you to this website (pictured below on the left). In comparison, the official SFMTA website to pay your citation is pictured on the right. The two websites look almost identical. The main difference is found in the URL of each website. 39-Year-Old Man Dies after Being Struck by Multiple VehiclesBAKERSFIELD, CA (May 5, 2023) – Early Saturday morning, a hit-and-run crash on Highway 58 claimed the life of Angel Tovar.The incident happened on April 22nd, just after 12:00 a.m., officers were dispatched at Highway 58, just east of Martin Luther King Boulevard.Upon investigation, the officers have learned that 39-year-old Tovar was walking in the third lane when he was struck by a vehicle which later drove away.
